What we do

EIS assists families with children 5 years and under and pregnant women by providing basic needs items such as formula, diapers, clothing, and more during times of financial crisis.

We offer diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, and more to every family that we help. Depending upon our inventory, we sometimes offer toys, books, car seats, furniture items, and more. If there is something your little ones need, you will have the opportunity to let our team know during our unique interview process.

Express Vs. Full Visits

All families elligible for our services are allotted 4 full visits and 4 express visits each calendar year. Express visits include diapers, wipes, and formula only while full visits may include additional items like clothing, car seats, toys, and more.

EIS downtown offers both full visits and express visits. Our express locations and mobile services events offer only express visits.

How it works

Step 1: determine if you are eligible for services

In order to receive services at EIS, you must have custody of one or more children within the newborn to 5 years age range. Parents, grandparents, fosters, and court appointed guardians may all be eligible if they have proof of guardianship. There are no additional income or residency restrictions to receive services. If you are unsure if your family is eligible, give us a call at 918-582-2469 or check out our Q & A section below for the answers to commonly asked questions.

Step 2: prepare for your visit

Gather the documents you will need - your photo ID and identification for each child 5 years and under. Birth certificates, vaccine records, hospital footprints, and guardianship documents are all accepted but Social Security cards are not accepted.

Step 3: Come to EIS

Visit our downtown location at 1110 South Denver Avenue between 9am and 2:30pm Monday through Friday. Appointments may be requested but are not required. Can’t make it downtown? Check out our other locations on the calendar above.

Step 4: Let us know what you need

Check in at the front desk and fill out the forms for your visit. You will then be able to meet with someone from our team to talk about your family's specific situation and needs. Be sure to tell our team exactly what you need help with, even if you don’t think it is something we provide assistance with. Often times, we are able to connect our clients with additional resources within our community.

During a full visit, you will be able to drop off the kiddos in the play area while you shop in the clothing boutique. When you are done shopping, check out at the boutique desk then use the drive thru on the north side of our building to pick up any items that our team gathered for you.
