COVID-19 & Services Updates
At Emergency Infant Services, we are putting our mission into action with the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, more than ever, families in our community are facing difficult decisions and we are doing everything in our power to ensure that their basic needs are met.
We are now serving families with children five and under by offering walk-in visits, curbside assistance, and appointments by request Monday – Friday 9:00am to 2:30pm.
*For the safety of our team, volunteers, and the families we serve, all adults are required to wear masks inside the building. If you are unable to wear a mask or do not have one, you will be able to receive assistance through our curbside services option. Thank you for your cooperation!
Current Services Q&A
Can I come inside the EIS building for a regular visit at this time?
Yes, we are now allowing a limited number of clients inside the building at once. For everyone’s safety, we are requiring all adults inside the building to wear masks. If you do not have a mask or cannot wear one, you will be able to receive assistance through our curbside service option.
Can I shop for clothing during my visit?
Yes, as long as you wear a mask, you will be able to come in for a walk-in visit and shop for clothing items in the botique. If you do not have a mask or prefer to use our curbside services, our team will select clothing items for you.
How does curbside service work?
Upon arrival to EIS, we ask that you find a parking spot and remain in your vehicle. A staff member will come to your car to gather your information and needs.
If you are a new client, we ask that you please email a copy of both your ID and identification documentation for any children needed assistance. Valid IDs for children include: birth certificate, immunization record, and/or hospital foot prints.
Once we have your completed paperwork, you will be provided with a number and then move to our drive-thru line where we will bring out your supplies.
What items are available?
We are now providing all of our typical items. Diapers, wipes, formula, food, clothing, toys, and furniture items are all available.
I am worried about my number of visits. Will this count as a visit?
While we are tracking who receives services during this unique time, we do not want this to be the reason you do not come in for assistance.
